About Me and My MRU Journey
My name is Christian, and I am in my second year of the Computer Information Systems (CIS) program at Mount Royal University. I chose CIS because I have always liked working with computers, and I want to learn how software and business systems work together. I hope to become a web developer or IT analyst after I finish my degree and make good money lol.
Before starting COMP 2511, I did not have much experience with coding. I played around with basic computer settings and watched a few videos online, but I had never built a full website from scratch. Learning raw HTML without using tools like WordPress or CSS styling has been a great starting point because now I understand how a web page is built from the ground up, its confusing and a bit overwhelming though...
